The kit in every room
The hotel publishes one list of amenities for all 188 rooms. It is unglamorous and useful, which suits a hotel at an exit ramp.
- 42-inch LCD flat-screen television with in-room movie choices
- Pillow-top mattress and duvet
- Climate control in the room
- Keurig coffee machine and tea kettle
- Iron, ironing board and hair dryer
- Charging ports and a work desk
- Mini fridge, with fresh creamers supplied daily
- Windows that open for fresh air
- LED fog-free mirror
- Complimentary Wi-Fi
- A complimentary bottle of water and a cookie
The opening windows are worth a note. Many freeway hotels seal theirs; here the hotel lists "fresh air access windows" as standard.

Names you may see elsewhere
The hotel's own room page uses "Traditional King" and "Traditional Two Queen". Its Black Friday 2026 offer refers to "Deluxe King or Two Queen" rooms, and package pages talk about a "Traditional Guest Room". These appear to describe the same standard rooms under different labels, but the hotel does not say so explicitly. If a rate is tied to a room name, ask the desk which room that name means on your date.
Views
The hotel describes its 28 suites as offering mountain and city views. It does not say which suites face west towards the Rockies, which face the city, or what the standard rooms look out on. From the south-east of Calgary the mountains are on the western horizon, so a west-facing upper window has the better chance. That is geography, not a promise.
Sizes and occupancy
Square footage, maximum occupancy and the number of floors are not published. The king room's sofa bed suggests space for more than two, but the occupancy limit is the hotel's call. Put the number of adults and children in the request form and the desk will check.
Deposits and cancellations
The package pages state that a major credit card is required for the hotel deposit at check-in, and that cash, debit and Visa Debit are not accepted for that deposit. Packages carry a 24-hour cancellation notice without penalty. Seasonal prepaid rates, such as the Black Friday 2026 offers, are non-refundable. Read the conditions attached to the rate you are actually booking.
Loyalty stamps
Hotel guests can register for the hotel's Loyalty Rewards program at the front desk. Each qualifying stay earns a stamp; the hotel lists room upgrades, $25 gift cards and free stays among the rewards. It is free to join.
