Why the room comes first
The hotel itself warns that New Year's Eve is one of the busiest nights of the year and recommends booking the room early. Its pitch is the same as for every concert: skip the drive home and take the elevator. For anyone who has seen Deerfoot Trail at 1 a.m. on 1 January, the argument needs no help.
Two pricing details matter:
- The hotel's Black Friday "holiday rate" of $159 plus tax applies to stays between 15 and 30 December 2026, which leaves out the night of the 31st. Do not plan around it for New Year's Eve.
- Concert packages bundle a room with show tickets of a set maximum value; the New Year's Eve concert tickets are priced higher than those limits. Ask before assuming the package covers this show.

With children
The dance party and the concert have no age information on the hotel's page, and the casino areas are 18+. The waterpark is open to hotel guests until midnight, which is either a solution or a problem depending on the household. The brunch has a kids' price.
Getting the room
Send a request with the dates 2026-12-31 to 2027-01-01 (or a second night to 2027-01-02, when the hotel lists an Elvis tribute show), the room type, the number of guests and the events you have tickets for. The desk checks availability and rate with the hotel and answers by email. It is a request, not a booking; nothing is charged by us.
